Indonesia lie on the RING of FIRE, a seismically active area, therefore, geotechnical earthquake engineering is one of the important subject we, the geotechnical engineer, need to learn in order to be able to design an earthquake resistant geotechnical structures. Unfortunately, many of the engineers did not have the chances to learn about it while they were in the university. This course is designed for those who want to refresh or to learn about geotechnical earthquake engineering and the earthquake resistant design of geotechnical structures. Examples on using NOVOLiq, EduShake, Plaxis and Geo5 shall be given.

Latar Belakang:

Keterbatasan lahan sering membuat pembangunan jalan, gedung, jembatan, dan lain bangunan sipil lainnya harus didirikan di atas tanah lunak, untuk itu diperlukan perencanaan dan pembanguan pondasi dalam yang efektif dan efisien. Untuk menjamin terlaksananya sistem pondasi yang handal dan ekonomis diperlukan pengetahuan perencanaan, sistem instrumentasi dan pengujian pondasi. Dalam pengalaman penulis me-review dan menguji pengetahuan perancangan para engineer sering ditemukan kekurang pengertian akan dasar-dasar teori perancangan, instrumentasi dan pengujian pondasi karena itu pelatihan ini dirancang untuk memperkenalkan bagaimana merancang, melaksanakan dan melakukan quality control dalam pembangunan pondasi dalam.

Peserta:

  • Pelatihan dirancang untuk para konsultan, kontraktor, akademisi (dosen dan mahasiswa),  dan para praktisi dunia teknik sipil pada umumnya serta para praktisi geoteknik khususnya.
  • Agar efektif peserta dibatasi maksimum 24 orang.  Karena keterbatasan tempat, maka prioritas diberikan kepada peserta yang menyelesaikan administrasi pendaftaran terlebih dahulu. First come first serve basis.

Format Pelatihan:

Pelatihan dilakukan dengan membahas teori, pelaksanaan dan permasalahannya, serta quality control; peserta juga akan diberikan kesempatan untuk mencoba melakukan perhitungan dan mencoba komputer software. Isi pelatihan:

  1. Perhitungan Daya Dukung Pondasi Tiang dengan data uji laboratorium (Metoda Alpha, Beta dan Lamda; Daya dukung untuk tanah pasir dan tanah lempung)
  2. Perhitungan Daya Dukung Tanah dengan menggunakan data SPT
  3. Perhitungan Daya Dukung Tanah dengan menggunakan data Sondir (CPT)
  4. Perhitungan Daya Dukung Tiang Tarik
  5. Perhitungan Gaya Gesek Negatif (Negative Friction)
  6. Kendala Aplikasi Teori Perhitugnan diatas
  7. Spesifikasi Teknis dan Teknik Pelaksanaan Pondasi Dalam (Tiang Pancang, Tiang Tekan dan Tiang Bor)
  8. Quality Assurance Pondasi Selama Pelaksanaan
  9. Quality Assurance Pondasi Sesudah Pelaksanaan (PIT -Pile Integrity Testing- dan Sonic Logging Test)
  10. Uji Beban Pondasi secara Statik,  dan Interpretasinya serta Instrumented Pile(Static Pile Loading Test and its Interpretation, Metoda Housel, Chin, Buttler and Hoy, Mazurkiewicz, DeBeer, Hyperbolic, dll.

  15. Penurunan Pondasi Tiang (Penurunan Tiang Tunggal, Kelompok Tiang dengan Cara Vesic an Cara Rakit Ekivalen)
  16. Kapasitas Lateral Tiang Tunggal (Cara Broms, Cara Reese Matlock, Cara Chang)
  17. Kapasitas Lateral Kelompok Tiang (Efisiensi Lateral, Penentuan Modulus Lateral Subgrade)
  18. Penggunaan Program Komputer (Geo5) untuk menghitung kapasitas Tiang

Biaya dan Sertifikat:

  • Biaya Rp. 3,500,000.-/peserta ; biaya sudah termasuk diktat pelatihan, makan siang, rehat kopi dan sertifikat (soft copy) pelatihan.
  • Bila peserta batal ikut serta, peserta dapat mengantinya dengan orang lain. Bila tidak ada pengganti maka dengan sangat menyesal kami hanya dapat mengembalikan 50% biaya pelatihan, dan buku pelatihan tetap diberikan kepada peserta yang batal tersebut.

A Short Course on Ground Improvement Techniques

Background: Soft compressible clay induces large total and differential settlement to the structures built above.  Construction on loose sands and high seismic region may face catastrophic liquefaction. To mitigate those problems and design a safe and economical foundation, a proper understanding of the settlement problem and the liquefaction potential is a pre-requisite, followed by the selection and design of suitable ground improvement method. This short course is designed to introduce and to train civil/structural/geotechnical engineers with the  design, execution and monitoring of suitable ground improvement techniques. Exercise with case histories on real projects shall be given.

Liquefaction potential analysis: What is Liquefaction; Liquefaction Phenomenon; Liquefaction induced Damages; Identifying Liquefaction Potential; Cyclic Stress Ratio – CSR; Assessing Liquefaction through SPT data; Assessing Liquefaction Potential through CPT data; Liquefaction of Deeper Layer; Calculation Examples.
  4. DYNAMIC COMPACTION: Equipment, Mechanism, Execution procedure, Design Guidlines and Case Histories.
  5. VIBROCOMPACTION – VIBROFLOATATION – STONE COLUMNS: Vibro Compaction Mechanism, Dry Process, Wet Process, Vibroflotation, Vibrocat, Stone Columns, Design Guidelines, Case Histories.
  6. JET GROUTING: Various Grouting Techniques, Equipment, Execution, Formation, Cement and Composition, Application of Jet Grouting.
